New day, new time, new blog post! Happy DST!
The last couple of days have been pretty exciting, between a job interview, babysitting my favorite 3 month old Keslie (who, coincidentally, wasn't sick like everyone else, but in pain due to some vaccinations), Texas Roadhouse, and some amazing mediterranean food, we had a really good time.
So, if you like trying new things, you have to go to Layla's in Holladay, UT. Cory and Katy went with us, making for more options as they got an app, we got an app, and all four of us got different entrees. Between the Lebanese couscous, lamb sausage, hummus, musakhen, lamb shank, mougrabieh and Layla's signature lemonade with rose water, we had a great night.
We had a great time in Park City after my job interview (keep your fingers crossed for me!) enjoying main street and a couple of the fun shops there. On the way home we hit Dairy Keen for some fantastic shakes as well as our fortunes. That day we were inside seven different restaurants slash fast food establishments - The Farm at Canyons, McDonalds,Taco Maker, Dairy Keen, Outback, Carrabba's, and Texas Roadhouse. In other words, we had fun. Haha, don't worry, we didn't eat in all of them. Just two.
Anyway, it was a good weekend. One of the most entertaining parts was when I needed Casey to hold Keslie a couple of times, and he didn't really know what to do with her. "Brooke... she's making noise, what do I do with her?" He's got a lot to learn...
Casey and Keslie: That is hilarious! Quick, get him trained! That kind of nonsense cannot go unchecked!
